Deciding to start therapy is a personal choice, and it's normal to wonder if it's the right path for you. Counseling can be beneficial for a wide range of reasons, and you don't need to be in a crisis to seek help. These might resonate with you: you’re feeling stuck or experiencing difficult emotions, you want to improve your relationships, you’re seeking personal growth and to understand yourself more, or you have a specific goal in mind.
No matter what, counseling with me will provide you a space to be heard without judgment and to gain new perspectives. The best way to know if it's right for you is to take the first step and schedule a consultation. We can discuss your unique situation and goals to see if we’re a good fit.

I adore working with teenagers and young adults who are trying to learn more about themselves, figuring out who they are, navigating heartbreak, wanting to improve their relationships, transitioning to a new phase of life, etc. Does this resonate with you? I’ve been a therapist, school counselor and teacher, so I know my way around a young person who is trying to figure life out.
Also, as a former expat myself, I love working with international folks who have repatriated and are dealing with culture shock, isolation, and all the other challenges that come with “being back.”

I provide in-person counseling in a cozy office in central Denver on Sundays and Tuesdays, and online counseling on Mondays, Wednesdays and some Thursdays. I offer afternoon and evening appointments to accommodate the school day. My schedule changes with the seasons.

This really depends on your goals, but counseling for meaningful, lasting change takes time. Plan on every week for the first few months to gain some momentum, and then we can chat about next steps together.

Unexpected events can happen, and sometimes you need to cancel or reschedule your therapy appointment. When you book a session, I reserve that time specifically for you. Please provide 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations or reschedules. This allows me to offer the time slot to another client on my waiting list. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged a full session fee.
